Residential Window Cleaning in Orange County

Orange County windows fight three things: salt film near the coast, hard water spots from sprinklers inland, and the fine dust Santa Ana winds push into every track. A professional window cleaning covers the glass inside and out, plus frames, sills and sliding door tracks, using purified water or squeegee methods that leave no streaks. Most homes here are one or two stories, so pros work from the ground, poles and ladders.

Cleaning only

Window, gutter, solar and exterior washing in California does not need a CSLB contractor license, only a local business license. Repairs, solar removal and paint-prep jobs are licensed work and only go to licensed partners.

Runoff compliant

Orange County storm water rules do not allow wash water to reach the curb, gutter or storm drain. Partners agree to contain and recover it.

Low-rise only

Homes and buildings from 1 to 3 stories. We do not route high-rise or rope-access window work.

Equipment rules

California requires new large gas pressure washers sold from model year 2028 to be zero-emission. Existing equipment stays legal to use.

FAQ

Residential Window Cleaning FAQ

A typical 2,000 sq ft, two-story Orange County home pays about $220 - $340 for inside and outside window cleaning, or about $125 - $200 for outside only. Large homes with 40+ windows run $445 - $695. Most companies have a minimum around $125.

Twice a year for most homes. Homes within a mile or two of the beach often go quarterly because salt film builds up fast, and homes with sprinklers hitting the glass may need hard water treatment.

No state contractor license is required for window cleaning in California. Window cleaners need a local business license. Our partner requirements also ask for general liability insurance.

Outside only is the budget option and handles salt, dust and sprinkler spots. Inside and outside costs roughly twice as much but gives the clear-glass result most people want before guests or a listing.
